Want A More Intimate Gay Relationship? Try Some BDSM

Intimate and Vulnerable: Using BDSM to Deepen the Connection in Relationship

I just wrote a fun article that was posted on YourTango.com about using BDSM, Bondage, Domination, Submission, and Masochism, in order to move closer and be more intimate with your partner. Now, we know in the gay community that BDSM has been a relatively common practice for a long time, but in the straight community, of course, it’s actually still fairly new but is really becoming very popular. I think the “Fifty Shades of Grey” books had a lot to do with that.

Want A More Intimate Gay Relationship? Try Some BDSMBDSM for intimacy is actually a way for two people to be very, very, very intimate and very vulnerable with one another. Because, you see, vulnerability is required for intimacy. You can’t have one without the other. If you think about it in a BDSM scene, the sub is being completely trusting and completely open to the Dom. In order for the Dom to have that, he has to be completely trustworthy, reliable, and just really create a sense of safety with his sub. The sub gets to be more intimate with the Dom. The Dom gets to be more intimate with the sub. Through that process, they have a meeting of the hearts and the minds, if it all goes according to plan, of course.

So I hope that you want to read the article. Here is a link to the original article: https://yourdenvercounseling.com/bdsm-improve-intimacy-in-marriage/ I welcome all comments.

  1. I want to introduce BDSM to my relationship with my boyfriend but we don’t know where to start. What are people’s favourite beginner fetishes?

    • I don’t know that you can identify favorite fetishes. I’d suggest the two of you do some research together, try some things to gether, and make a fun project of figuring out what works for the two of you.
